The Unfinished Church

These photographs were taken last Saturday at the Unfinished Church in St. George's, Bermuda. The building of this gothic structure began in the 1870s but was abandoned a few decades later after being hit both with natural disaster and congregation infighting. The rest of the photographs I took can be found in this Flickr set.

Hey, just found your blog via the "next blog" button at the top, and am quite glad I did. I've bookmarked it to come back to when I need a book recommendation. I'm currently reading Weaveworld by Clive Barker - loving it too.

Great blog - I read your latest bit about your friend Tim. Wow, he sounds quite motivated. That's great, and inspiring :)

Thanks!

(And sorry you couldn't keep pressing the "next blog" button - I took it off my site because it's ugly!)

My thesis is very consuming at the moment, but I hope to have more book reviews up soon!

Nice pics. I wish there were more church ruins where I live. And by more I mean any at all...
